PLAK FESTİVALİ

The Record Festival we held on September 18 – 19, 2021 was met with great interest by music lovers, record collectors, and young people who follow popular culture closely. In addition to the fairgrounds where Istanbul’s best record stores were located, the festival, which attracted approximately 17 thousand people, turned the Feriköy Organic Park Parking Lot into a festival with its art and exhibition areas.

​Betül Atlı, whose psychedelic drawings adorned the covers of Barış Manço, Cem Karaca, Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull, and Elvis Presley records, was also among our guests. We learned the hidden stories of very special works at the Betül Atlı 45 and Record Covers exhibition held in Bomontiada. We took a journey into the past in Güven Erkin Erkal’s Rock music concert poster collection exhibition.

​The stage, which was filled from the daytime with interviews conducted by Murta Meriç with Kanat Atkaya, Betül Atlı, Ahmetcan Taşdemir and Serkan Fidan, was also enlivened with record auctions. In the evening, we hosted Flört, Kesmeşeker, BabaZula and Moğollar.
